I've been knocked out with the the flu for almost 10 days, but now I'm up and running again.

I have started the assembly of #139. First step is bracing the soundboard.

The spruce block has been split on 2 faces in order to make sure there is as little runout as possible in the braces.

So, summer is over and Iḿ back in the workshop. Here you have the first pictures of the next guitar I will build, a flamenca blanca

#138 ready to be French Polished

#138 is a cedartop blanca with a 7 piece symetrical strut layout. It figures a zig-zag rosette and tieblock inlay made of bloodwood, sycamore and ebony.

I started a blanca just before christmas.
