gluing bindings/purlings

When I glue the bindings, I only glue one a time. I know its standard to do two a time, but I find it to be to stressy and to often I ended up with having to fill impresision.
On the photo, I´m gluing the one to the right

my homemade sidebending machine

Here you have my sidebender. Its a very simple design. The heating element is my dads old bread toaster and the steel sheets are spring steel bought home from the US. It has bend all my sides, bindings and inner linings fro the last 70 guitars or so. It´ll last many years more, so I dont see any reasons to move on to something more advanced.

reference soundboard

Here you have my reference soundboard. Thats what I use when I calibrate my soundboards. I use it to compare stiffness and weight.
The numbers on it are imperial, so 88 means .088". Its a relatively soft and light piece of spruce from Switzerland. So normally my soundboards end up being a bit thinner (.084" typically)
The soundboard has a rosette installed and weighs 120grams
