Making an inlayed soundport.

Here´s a couple of photos of the creation of the soundport inlay on guitar number 84.

The bracing of the soundboards. From the bottom, number 84 in the press and top, number 82.
82, 83 and 84 all have the same bracing layout. Its not a copy of some famous builder, but my interpretation of a typical 7 piece bracing system.
Number 81 has an experimental 5 piece system.

My workbenches

A guy over at foroflamenco.com asked about the size of my workbench.
Its 150 x 50cm and it works very well. With this size, I can work on both sides of the guitar without having to move it. There´s enough space on both sides of the guitar so that you can clamp a wooden block on bothe sides of the guitar so that it doesnt move when routing, and many other things.
I like to kep my workbench clean. I dont like to enter the workshop and se it with a lot of things on top.
BUT... since every coin has two sides, or everything has its ying yang, I also have a chaos workbench, where I leave dings and dangs and where I sometimes cant find what I´m looking for.

Guitar number 80 finished

Guitar number 80 is a Panama Rosewood Flamenco Negra. I like it and it sounds great.

I´ve just started the building of guitars number 81 - 84. Pictures show my jointing setup, my gluing press and finally the plates joined, cut out and ready to be worked
